Each library in the System has been assigned a professional consultant librarian to help with all aspects of library management, or simply to be a sounding board at any time. Our work with library directors and boards focused on diverse topics that included fundraising and grant seeking, collection management, board and staff relationships, community assessment, board and staff relationships, community assessment, state standards, advocacy, and strategic planning.
The director is also always available as a consultant, and can lend his expertise in library laws and regulations, human resources and management, and library boards.
