NY Reads: Join readers around the state in reading Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming By Paul Hawken
Would you like to do something to help your community take meaningful action? Learn about a comprehensive plan to reverse global warming from Project Drawdown – a scientific study that identified 100 solutions that, together, could actually reverse global warming by 2050.
The New York Library Association is inviting people around the state to read Drawdown, the bestselling book by Paul Hawken. Courtesy of NYLA, Drawdown is available as an ebook at https://cefls.overdrive.com/ during the month of March 2019. CEFLS will also be buying additional copies for patrons to borrow afterwards, and we will have a book club in a bag featuring the book and additional information. You can request to borrow the book by visiting our online catalog, or check with your library to request the book or to see if any events are planned.
The New York Reads event is running until March 31. Starting April 3, people can put their knowledge into action with the official Drawdown EcoChallenge. It is free to join at drawdown.ecochallenge.org. If you have a group of people who would like to participate, you can create a team!
