We thank the Plattsburgh Lions Club for a generous donation, which allowed us to purchase a collection of exciting downloadable audiobooks for middle grade and high school readers. This collection is designed to help entice reluctant readers to try out some new authors.  Educational experts have said that listening to audiobooks helps struggling readers by increasing their vocabulary and motivation to read, and decreasing anxiety around reading.

Titles include The Care and Feeding of a Pet Black Hole, Scar Island, Warcross, and Zombie Baseball Beatdown. Some are considered young adult titles, and some are written for the middle grade reader. Science fiction, horror, suspense – we have it all!
